So now lets get to the story. Basically Oikonny has taken over the Andross Empire and has set up a base on Fortuna. So basically you are in a flying level above Fortuna and fighting lots of classic enemies as well as some neew one it all leads up to a fight with Oikonny which is like an easy version of the fight with andross in star fox 64. in the middle the fight is interuppting by a strang moth reature this creature turns out to be an aparoid. Aparoids are a race of giant bugs trying to destroy the lylat system. Over the course of the game you will fight aparoids in flying levels and land levels. Flying levels will have arwing combat and land will have gun, bomb, and landmaster tank combat. You will see ocassional appearances of star wolf in which you wil get to fight against and alongside. You can play the campaign on 3 levels of difficulty bronze, silver, and gold. This game also includes great multiplayer with plenty of stages with all of the different forms of combat. You start out with Fox, Falco, Slippy, and krystal as playable characters in multiplayer and you can unlock Peppy and Wolf. You can also unlock new weapons for multiplayer as well new rules. Star Fox Assault is a great game that bring classic flying levels and all new forms of land combat.
