One of the best RPG's out there it has a great storyline, some pretty solid characters, and the fighting system and gameplay never gets old. This is my favorite RPG's since the final fantasy games. If you enjoy fantasy and RPG's then this game will be a no brainer for you. Like said before the story is amazing and really engaging with a twist in just about every level. All the characters are really interesting and you can tell that alot of thought was given in to each one with each there own personality. The fighting system is very fun because you have so much more freedom over your characters and there actions. The games difficulty was well paced and even on the higher difficulties it isn't frustrating actually it's more enjoyable. Overall starocean is a great game with lots of ambition so if you have liked previous RPG's than you will absolutely love this game.
