"Extremely good Storyline and a great RPG game"

Star Ocean is a really good action/fantasy game created by Square Enix as you take the roll of a 19 year old boy called Fayt Leingod a college student from Earth and hes on a family holiday on planet Hyda 4 with his parents and his best friend Sophia but his holiday get ruined by a evil Alien race the Vendeeni and they capture fayts parents, Fayt and Sophia are then taken to an escape ship then evacuated in escape pods and then they get seperated then the real action begins as you land on an underdeveloped planet.

The graphics are good and the music is pretty cool but the control system is really easy you get used to it as soon as you take your first battle, there is lots of characters to be through out the game and theres extra features with the directors cut edition but the game isnt much different.

The game has 2 disks and it is a pretty long game but very fun, the cinematics in between are overly long sometimes but if you want to know the story or get to know what you have to do next then I advise you to watch them also theres a secret 2 player fighting mode, this game has to be one of the most impressive games I've ever played!
