One of the things is the story, which I find good in this game along with characters that just get better over time in the game. The controls are good as a old school rpg should be and the open field battle is nice. I would say if you like rpgs and good old school battles then pick this game up and it's a very stunning looking game for the psp. The colors are crisp and fill the screen to bring out a great looking game and bring to life the world around you. The voice acting is good and the only downfall is the voice acting going into battle but besides that it is good in all other areas of the game. The cut shots that come in the game are down very well to show and bring you into the world of StarOcean, they give you a feel for the story and characters and make you want more of the cut shots and it makes you wish they would have made a movie on this.
