Game play is easy to understand, but challenging enough that you haven't seen it all before. An appreciation of tactics and strategy makes solving and playing this game a blast, with just the right level of difficulty in combat that you might have to think twice about making it out alive.
Being diplomatic tends to help in this game as many of the missions require it to come to the best possible outcome for all races involved.
overall a very good game, as stated a bit under appreciated, but definitely worth a play for Star Trek fans
