Most star trek games throughout video game history have been OK at best need I remind you of the star trek next generation game for the SNES??? well Star trek: Invasion blows away all the mistakes from the past Star trek games. In this latest incarnation of star trek you play as a hot shot pilot under the command of Lt. Cmdr Worf. You will face old enemies Romulans, Cardasians, Borg to the Hurq Species that raided the Klingon planet many centuries ago. You will be in a small one man fighter codenamed "Valkyrie" you will defend the galaxy from doom. there are different types of missions that range from Escort Missions to all out wars above planets. If you do good you will get comidations from our favorite klingon if you take too long you will get him yelling at you so you will have to do the missions in a time frame. My best advice to you. Do the training missions first if you don't you'll be trying to figure out how to handle your ship when your getting blasted from all sides. This game ranks a 8 out of 10 in my opinion because I feel that there could be a lot more to this game why be confined to play small ships why nothing bigger? and the controls could be upsetting when trying to fight a specific enemy. But with its E rating it means that anyone can play this game so I say go for it.
