this game was freakin' awesome!!! think of a battle in the star wars timeline... imagine you were a plain old soldier on the frontlines of that battle... --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- that is what battlefront is and will always be... gameplay-i explained this above, basically, you choose a planet to do battle on (my fav is bespin!), and pick your era, then you pic your side... if you fight the clone wars, you can be the republic or the droid army of the cis, if you choose to do some old-school galactic civil war, then you can help the rebel alliance or do some gruntwork in the imperial army... there are 3 modes of play, galactic conquest, historical campaign, and instant action... IN is a quick game, HC is the story mode, and GC is a game that can only be explained first hand... graphics-truely star wars-esque, theres lightsabers, blasters, and the blaster fire, etc.etc.etc. the at-ats. in my opinion, are the best acheivement in graphics of all sound-perfect, sound is the peak of almost any star wars game, this one takes that to a whole new lvl!! you can hear everything from the hum of a lightsaber, or vader's breathing to the blaster fire over your head, the thermal detonators exploding around you, and your comrades screaming as they die at the hands of a blaster... truely perfect value-this game revolutionized star wars gaming(after kotor), that and the fact that its a great game and star wars collectable make the value high buy this game, it is great P.S. the planet variety is great, from bespin and rhen-var(EU), to hoth and endor
