A great sequel, blowing the 1st out of the water...
Star Wars Battlefront 2 is an upgrade of the 1st, with more maps, more options for play, and a new story. This game sets you in the time of Star Wars 3, and you'll fight in many memorable locations from the movie. You can now play online, or play 4-player with friends, which is insanely fun for a Saturday night video game marathon. You can play as some new kinds of soldiers, as well as the option to play as a hero, which is being able to play as Darth Vader, Han Solo, Luke, or some new heroes, Anakin, young Obi-Wan Kenobi, Dart Maul, and a fair few more. The graphics could've been better, and the characters are a bit blocky and flat, but you'll be having so much fun you won't notice too much. The sound is great, and you'll feel like your there ducking and weaving between laser fire and readying yourself for the onslaught of the enemy. Every character has an ability, and two weapons, a standard pistol and a varied weapon for the type of soldier you are. You also have points which up your rank in certain aspects of play, giving your profile awesome abilities which can really help during a battle. Also, you have a new mode of play, which is a space battle. You start off in your ship, and you have to attack the other, either by landing inside the enemy ship and causing all hell from the inside, or just drop bombs and fire lasers at the outside. This makes for some great fun, with a version of CTF which will shake things up a bit.
To sum up, Star Wars Battlefront 2 is a welcomed addition to the Star Wars universe, and is a great game for fans of Star Wars or multiplayer war games.
