Star Wars Battlefront II: A Great Sequal to a great game.
So I personally tracked the developing process and eagerly pre-ordered from EB-Games.
The Gameplay is very similar, it even includes some of the levels from the last game, but a bit amped up. If you got used to the maps from the last Battlefront, get ready for new stuff.
In addition to the "old new" levels, there is also the new new levels. Dagobah for instance. You can go to the place in the movie where Luke faces his inner demons.
Included are levels from Episode III, including Mustafar where Anakin gets the make-over of his life.
Speaking of Anakin: Heroes. While not completely invincible like the Battlefront predecessors, they still beat the crap out of everything. Heroes include: Darth Vader, Anakin, Luke, Leia, Han Solo, Chewbaca, Jango Fett, Bobba Fett, Darth Maul, Mace Windu, Count Dooku, Emperor Palpatine, Yoda, General Greivous, Obi-Wan, and Aya Seculra. One of the Cooler features is to go to Mos Eisley and select assault, which is where all the good heroes fight all the bad heroes, like a regular game except everybody is a hero. Its pretty extreme having Grevious fight Luke or Yoda team-killing Obi-Wan.
The Space Fights: Could have had a bit more. The ships aren't as deep on the inside and the battles aren't as intense, not to mention the lack of space heroes. How cool would it be if we had been able to fly the Slave I?
Plus if there had been multiple planet levels, it would have added an extra dimension. Plus some levels would be more fun with more airborne vehicles.
Overall, a very good game. Satisfying and more. I highly recommend it. Great Job Lucas Arts and Pandemic.
