Star Wars Battlefront 2 still feels the same with slight improvements over its predecessor, yet still is fun to play.
Basically the game is about trying to conquer the area in each stage, by getting Command Posts. There are modes in which you can pick such as "Rise of the Empire", and "Galactic Conquest." The first mode is a Campaign. So its more of a story mode. The second mode is about capturing planets and buying upgrades which can become of use during battle. There are other modes as well in the game, there is online and multiplayer mode as well. There have been some new additions into this game. Especially everyones favorite would be the ability to play as a jedi. Playing as a jedi is really fun and can improve greatly for the next game. Another addition was the new air combat. This is a really good feature and you can easily manuver tactics while flying a jet plane. So this makes a nice fit into the game as well.
If you played Star Wars Battlefront, you will not see a difference in the graphics in part two. There is no difference whatsoever between the two games. But still, the graphics are still sharp and are still good for any gamer. The levels are designed nicely and player models look sharp as well. Maybe we might see graphic improvements in the next Battlefront game.
The sound as usual is great. All the Star Wars themes and music are great to hear in the game. The character voices, especially the Wookie's one, is great to hear. I think the sound is just awesome in the game. I just like listening to the Star Wars themes and i think it's great to hear them in the game.
I think this is a great game and you should have enough fun with the Campaign Mode and Galactic Conquest. But there isnt really much left after you have completed these two modes. You can either play online or play with friends. If you are a Star Wars fan, this should definitly be in your collection of games.
