Though not without problems, Battlefront 2 is an insanely fun game.

Battlefront 2 is fun. Period. The action is relentless, the balance of troops and weapons is great, and the graphics and sound really create a Star-Warsish atmosphere.
Battlefront 2 has some problems, though. Its main problem is that it doesn't do much new. First off, the much-hyped "jedi heros" quite frankly, well, suck. They do a good job of taking out a lot of troops, yes, but controlling them is so akward and cumbersome that it takes away a lot of the fun. Luckly, the jedi heros are a small part of the game.
The single-player campaigns have been majorly improved. Unfortunetly, if you've played Battlefront 1 to death, the campaign modes will bug you, because they force you to actually replay a lot of the maps from the original Battlefront.
My final problem with Battlefront 2 is the squad commands. The instruction booklet never really explains how to use the squad commands, so you have to figure it out by yourself. When you do figure out the squad commands, you'll be disappointed, because you have to point at a soldier and press "up" every time you want to command one. This makes things frusturating at times when you're in the middle of a huge battle.
However, all these flaws are easily overlooked because this game is intense and exciting at all times. If you like Star Wars or shooters, then this game is for you.
