Equal to the first, with alot of the same problems.

I love the first Battlefront... It was an instant classic. Of course it did have its problems, but the enjoyment you did get from it over shadowed those issues. The AI in the first seemed to get stuck or not move correctly. In the second edition of this series it appears to have been fixed a bit. The graphics also appeared to be the same with little touch up done. Of course the amount of new material and different game types is much more broad. Fightning as a Jedi or some other Hero can be fun, but I was quickly confused as to how I earned them. I know it had something to do with the point system, but when I was playing co-op with someone we had no clue how it selected who got to play the hero first... The Jedi powers are interesting and fun to play with and the new locations bring a new bit of action to the game. I wouldnt say this game is alot better than the first, but equivalent. I would highly recommend being patient and waiting for the price to drop since the game is very similar to the first with a few new options. All in all a good game with a few new options, but the lack of improved graphics and game control make it no different from the first in my opinion.
