Yeah this game isn't as good as SOCOM and I bought it thinking it would be better than it is but I still think that it is OK. The controls are weird, but so are the controls for all the other shooters on PSP since it only has 1 analog stick. If you are a Star Wars junkie like myself atleast rent it. It isn't the best PSP game but if you don't want SOCOM I think that you should try this. Although it is missing some things that it console counterparts have you really shouldn't compare it to them. I think that if it was a PSP exclusive it would have gotten a higher review because there wouldn't have been a console version to compare it to. Yes it has no campaign or infrastructure mode but if you are on the bus or in a car and you feel like slaughtering some gungans with Boba Fett, now you can.
