Same Clone time, same clone channel

Okay, this game is just really a re-used sprite-filled FPS. Granted, yes, it is freaking awsome to go around as a clone, or as a rebel soilder and shoot, mame and kill things... it gets rather repeditive and this game has some of the same issues as the first. The "easy" AI is to easy, and the "hard" AI tends to be flat out dumb. While the Hard AI shoots more accuratly, they still run into walls, and will stand there looking at you; waiting for you to send them on their way to another spawn point. Don't be fooled by the "wow! I can play as a Jedi!" Really, the Jedi heros are far to powerful. I feel like I'm cheating when I am one, so I try to avoid spawning as one. And as for the non-jedi or Sith heros, such as Han or Boba, they're okay. Slightly more powerful, they have a few extra nice toys, such as Boba's flame thrower... but really, they're just beefed-up infantry or jet troopers. Don't get bogged down with the space battles either. Since you have to do something to make the game go forward, if you just dog fight for eternity, you'll always loose. You have to get in there and do the objectives; such as getting the flag or blowing the capitol starship to pieaces. With all the harsh stuff aside, the new maps and semi-new characters are a nice addition (My favorite being the CIS's commander) And, with John William's classic soundtracks backing up the game, it makes for a good adreneline rush. Although, I am officaly sick and tired of hearing duel of the heros. All in all, if you liked the first Battlefront game, chances are that you'll like this one too. Oh, and one more thing. This games gets mucho kudoes for being able to play as Jawas, and Ewoks in the "hunt" instant action. There's isn't many other things as satisfying as owning an imperial trooper with a rock as an Ewok... well maybe getting in a good clean head shot with a sniper might come right before it. But, anyway, if you didn't play the first one, you might like it too. But, this one is definatly a renter before you buy it.
