Battlefront II is mostly a online multiplayer shooter that includes an average single-player campaign. This campaign includes over a dozen of missions that contains objectives that needs to be done. They are all connected thru nice videos but the meat of the game is in the multiplayer.

The controls are good and you'll be shooter stuff in no time. You can jump, dash, roll and drive vehicles. The graphics are very good but you can see they cut off on some of the details to make sure the PS2 hardware doesn't chug too much when there's a lot of stuff going on. All of the character models looks great and the level are big and detailed enough.

Like in almost any other Star Wars game, the sound is excellent. It sounds just like in the movies.

The multiplayer offers some nice game types, but most of the games i joined were Conquest. You gonna take control of all the command posts or eliminate all the reinforcements of the other team.

If you like online shooters and Star Wars you should check this one out. It's not as good as the Socom series but it's still very entertaining... especially if you are a Star Wars fan.
