Well lets just say...when i first played it at a friends for 2hours...the next day i went and spent $60 on it.
In the visual department I personaly love what Lucasarts does with there games and yet again...this game is visualy stunning. I mean the Space battles are just unbeliveable. The detail on absoultly everything is just at a level of its own that only lucasarts can render.
Now i am going to say the same about the sound. The voice overs are exelently done. The sounds that the gun and tanks and the aircraft make are movie quality and overall very well done. Having playd it though for hmm lets say about 80 hours total to date, I've noticed some small glitches in the sound, especialy on Degodah(dont kill me if I spelt it wrong) where the voices will chop, and the music glitches. This just might be my disc, not sure.
Gameplay is actualy very fun and...it isn't a short storyline so your playing for quite a long time but also...if you want more , there galatic conquest mode has 2 sub devisions that will just keep you playing for a long period of time. The story mode it self is very well done and follow most of the movie but lets you move and play it the way you want to.
On the dificulty side of things, the game can be anoying in some of the later missions, even on the lower dificulties, but this is a minor complaint when you compare it to the rest of the game. SWBF2 has made a great name for itself, and can be called probibily one of the best games to grace the PS2.
Overall, Star Wars Battle Front 2 is an exalent game worth your money and time. If you still own a PS2 (like myself) you will definatly want this game if you dont own its already. A fun campain and other 'Side storys' make this game something you wont beet in 20 hours, but with some minor sound glitches, parts of the game can start to get anoying. In the end, Star Wars Battle Front 2 deserves a well fought 9 - IF you own a PS2 and dont have this game(or if you've been living under a rock for the last 6 year) go buy it now!
