Mixing "Battlefront" with "Star Wars" is what this game is! And they did a great job on it!

The sequel to "Star Wars: Battlefront", SW:B2 is an example of how the makers improve greatly on the game. In the 1st game, many issues were made by the players and many of them were answered in this sequel. Here are some good things on the game:

1. Any Star Wars fan looking for a game mixed with the gameplay of "Battlefield", but didn't really like the 1st SW:B will find this much better.

2. In the last game, you could only watch the AI become the "hero" of the faction and wish you could be him, but now in SW:B2, their is a wide variety of heroes you can be for the Republic, Confederacy, Galactic Empire, and Rebel Alliance that include Yoda, General Grevious, Darth Vader, and Han Solo. They are unlocked in each match after earning a certain amount of points (it's 10 if you don't change the options).

3. Their are space battles now available in SW:B2! In the 1st one, you could only have the small land level to fly around (on few levels) with Bespin: Platforms the biggest area for them, now that's nothing compared to the space and options given in space battles! Choose to be a pilot and jump in a weak-but-speedy fighter, a mid-class ship, or a strong-but-slow bomber and attack your opponent's enemy fighters or capitol ship for points to win the match. Or even become a Marine class trooper, jump in a transport, load it up with troops, fly into the enemy hangar, and attack and sabatoge it from the inside while repelling the enemy troops inside.

4. Sound effects and music are basically from the movies. If you're a fan of the music and effects, then expect them in the game and enjoy them often.

5. Most planets shown in the movies of SW are in the game. From Mustafar (Ep.3) to Endor (Ep.6), including many new planets added, including Mustafar (I mentioned it earlier), Kamino, and Polis Massa.

Those are the top 5 reasons for my rating off the bat at the moment, so if you plan to buy this game, hopefully this review gave you a good view of the game. I didn't mention the online gameplay since it didn't do an excellent job online, for their were many glitches, errors, and lags. Get used to them though, and you'll enjoy it anyway! 8.7 is my rating, though I am a big "Star Wars" fan myself.
