Can it topple the mighty original? well read my review and see what I think
Star Wars Battlefront 2 is just as quality as its original game, it has brilliant gameplay , brilliant graphics , and one of the most fun multiplayer split screen modes I have ever played. So far so good, it seems to at least be as good as the original right?. Battlefront 2 isnt only just as good as its first installment I think it is actually better, heres why. First off the game has improved on the campaign mode the main singleplayer mode which has made a return from the original game. But on the original game this mode wasn't totally fun because there was only a few levels and every mission was just about killing all the enemys reinforcements and capturing command posts. But on the new one there is a storyline on it and it is how the clones became the Empire. You play this story. So instead of it being called the 'historical campaign' this time it is called ' the rise of the Empire' .
But this time round it isnt only just about killing all you're enemys reinforcments and capturing command posts NO. Now there is more levels and you have to do objectives during the campaign which makes it more interesting and fun. Also this time round you don't know how many reinforcemnts the oppsing team has scary huh?. But you still know how many you're team has so basically you have to complete the tasks before you're reinforcments run out. You can get more reinforcments by capturing the command posts. There is also space fighting levels now to.
More new features are:
- You can play as jedi
- Space battle levels
- More characters
- And a much better and more in depth galactic conquest mode
sound better than the original? well it is in my opinion ( but no disrespect to the first game its still a briliant game :-) )
