The best multiplayer game on the Xbox
Gameplay: There are plenty of changes made to Battlefront 2 that make the sequel more than worth buying even if you have the first one. First off, the single player has been completely revamped and is actually worth playing now! Unfortunately, the awesomeness of the single player is cut short and you will finish it in about 2 hours. But don't worry, theres plenty of multiplayer action to make up for how short the single player is. They added new courses, new classes, and new game modes. Really, the only problem was that there was only one game mode in the last one. If they had simply added the new game modes, it would have made the game worth buying. The new courses and classes are just like added bonuses. Also, if you have Xbox Live, you can download most of the courses from the first game as well with all new graphics! If you haven't played the first game, you start out by picking one of four teams: Droids, Clones, Empire, Rebels. The games always work as Droids vs. Clones or Empire vs. Rebels. All the teams are mostly the same except for a few special classes and differences between the classes. The teams are incredibly balanced also so no team will have any advantage over any other team. The game modes are Conquest, Assault, 1 flag and 2 flag capture the flag, and Hunt. Conquest is like the last game where you must capture spawn points from the enemy and force them to run out of reinforcements. Assault is either a space battle where you must get points by killing enemy ships and destroying the enemy mother ship. On land, Assault is a jedi battle where you pick either heroes or villians and fight other jedi to get points. Capture the Flag is pretty self-explanatory. Finally, hunt is on certain courses where one team plays as a native species and one team plays as mercs. They must battle it out to kill off each others reinforcements. When you start a game, you pick what class you are going to be and what spawn point you will spawn at. From there you battle it out with the other team. Both teams keep fighting till one team fulfils the victory conditions.
The one downfall is that you can't use space ships on land battles now. Only in space battles. So no more X-wings flying around, mowing down the other team.
Graphics: The graphics are a huge step up from Battlefront 1 and you will see the difference when you play one of the old courses from the first game. It is absolutely incredible.
Sounds: The sounds really bring back memories of Star Wars from the old movies and the new.
Value: I got this game a long time ago and I'm still playing it tons. This game never gets old.
