Do you like Episode I ?
Others will see this game and say, "Hey, I like Rogue Squadron for the N64, and this is that game's cousin, so it can't be all bad." It's not all bad, you just have to be prepared to spend a lot of time in, well... Episode I. I got over this movie too quickly to care to spend hours "defending" its boring inhabitants and locales. Not many of us feel a deep sympathy for Gungans.
The game makes good use of Rogue Squadron's engine, and makes a good attempt at variety in missions. Like with RS, you may be frustrated with "pop-up," as enemies suddenly poof into existence close to you, while you were not able to see them farther off due to draw-distance issues.
On the positive side, if you MUST venture into Episode I's mythos as a gamer, you would rather to it here, in a battle setting, than in the atrocious third-person platforming of Phantom Menace, the third-person adventure game (shiver)!
