I've been a Star Wars fan since my big brother took me to see The Empire Strikes Back when I was 9. So for me, anything relate to Star Wars is something I want to check out; especially if it's directly connected to one of the movies. So, my opinion of this game is based on the fact that I am a fan, so therefore I cut it a little slack. For the Star Wars fan: Episode III is a must have. You get to act out your favorite scenes from the movie and even those that weren't in the movie. The story-telling very good and has a good and challenging pace to it. There were some things that were a little over the top and out of left field: like super SUPER battle droids and he-man sized clones. Not to mention the fat oversized jedi. But, it's still fun to be a part of the film, on both sides. Not only to you get to be the hero, you also get to be the villian. The level where you play as Anikan and go to the temple to slaughter the jedi is disturbingly fun! For the NON Star Wars fan (and general comments): The game is lacking in a few areas. The graphics are ok, but nothing phenominal. The sound is very good, but nothing revolutionary. The multi-player can be fun as long as you and your opponent are evenly matched. As for the single player, there are a lot of problems. The scenes can be difficult to navigate as some things are going on behind you where you can't see the enemy, let alone fight him. The positioning of your character on the screen is awkward in many places making it difficult to strategically fight (let me say I'm not a fan of marital arts games so maybe some of you are used to that type of scenario). The button combinations for fighting are inconsistent causing you to think you're doing something when you're actually doing nothing but standing there waiting for the next blow. Overall, Episode III can be fun, but it doesn't last long. If it wasn't for the cheat codes, I probably would have given up on it already. SOMETHING WORTH NOTING: If you have seen the movie, you'll want to beat the game if for no other reason than to see how the movie could have ended. If you need the cheat codes to finish it, go for it. It's completely worth it. Just play as Anikan against Obi-Wan on Mustafar. If you beat him, you'll see how things could have been very different!
