I find the recent "update" atrocious on so many varied levels. They have taken a fairly sound product, with a good (and loyal) customer base, and turned it upside-down. SOE / Lucasarts are effectively pissing on us from a great height with this "update". Instead of fixing the pre-existing product, they have decided to unleash this abomination upon us.

We are now paying for a game which barely tickles beta testing mode. If this product was released in any other context, it would be a commercial failure. The only reason SOE/Lucasarts have released this "update" in its current broken form, is in the belief that some form of misguided loyalty to Galaxies will keep us here, at least until the console release.

Example -

We now have 9 new professions, each with individual armour requirements. Spy, for example is clearly represented by an image of a char wearing Boushh armour.
All fair and well, but when you consider that such armour falls under the category of recon, which cannot be worn by spies........The act of a good designer? I don't think so. This is a rushed job which doesn't deserve anyone's money.
Sad, because despite its failings, I used to really enjoy Galaxies pre-NGE.

If you have any self respect, you will not waste your money on this.
