In the past, this game had a great deal of customization options that let you develop different types of characters, with a complex economy and crafting system. Now, it has had all the great elements stripped out, and all that is left are the bad parts. Star Wars Galaxies has always been plagued by technical glitches, and lack of content. Content ended up being the user created content that comes from the complex interplay of crafters and adventurers. Server latency keeps the game from being as snappy as most MMOGs, which makes this game one that relies on complexity instead. Understaffed content teams has meant that what few quests exist are often broken or obsolete. The graphics engine is clever, though it falls short of some of todays standards.
