Left after CU in April, glad I'm not returning

I played SWG for 14 months, then they added the "Combat Upgrade". I quit 3 weeks after it went live, not to bother with it again. Then I got an invite to try the NGE, so I figured I would give it a look.
After trying the NGE, I am prefectly happy with the choice I made when I quit. The new "enhancements" are an even worse dumbing down of the game.
I can only imagine that the reason people play this hunk of junk is because of the Star Wars name. If it were any other Sci-Fi MMO, I know that this game would have died long ago.
