Was a great game, now a poorly coded frakenstein, thank you NGE patch....

Unplayable and bug ridden sums it up. Prior to NGE it was still bug ridden but at least it was a great game to play. SOE dropped the ball on this one. As for the devs, who on earth changes a games core tick rate on the graphics engine (and hence game looping speed) to give the illusion of faster combat???!!!! Very poor descision! Only a newb coder would do this because they have no idea how to implement their changes properly. Now they are reaping the rewards as the uprated game speed is producing uber lag.

Current issues:
1. Everything is too fast! Watch some of the NPC droids moving around (or in fact any NPC) its like watching a film on fast forward!
2. No more solo play. Mobs add much more easily than they did and if you get more than one you will die as you cannot heal.
3. Uber lag.
4. Broken and badly designed UI.
5. Many more new bugs....

Things are so bad have a look at the official SWG forums and see how fast the flames are pouring in!

SOE should have adde more content to the planets they already had. This would have been easier to implement and not trigger the kind of mass exodus that is now happening.

I recently went back to SWG after a spell of Wow. I really enjoyed it, right up until the NGE patch a few days ago. If SOE have any sense they will do 3 things:
1. Roll back the NGE and destroy it.
2. Sack the managers that made the descision to implement NGE.
3. Try and find some coders that can code better than a monkey radomly throwing rocks at a keyboard.
