the starter kit offers the first 30 levels of a game that goes to 90. poor choice to release it before it was totally finished, but as a veteran player of the game i can say that the game COULD NOT stay as is, people that have played this game that remember the first combat upgrade will tell you that what came ofter that was a watered down version of SWG. people are now saying the same thing. most of these posts that you see are from angry jedi that lost their status as the ALPHA character in the game, they are angry cuz they are only as strong as everyone else now and only have as much customizablity as all other professions. (jedi used to be 4 times as diverse as it is now). But history shows that any MMORPG with an alpha class in it has failed. honestly, as a veteran player who had spent the last 3 months working towards jedi, i was a little bitter that my last 3 months were swept away, but i was happy to try out the new combat, its fast and tough (really tough for jedi, they are working on getting us some defense) and has a great "star wars battlefront" feel to it while retaining most of the rpg factor. if you can spare the 20 bucks, try it out. you get a free month of online play so its no biggie. make your own opinion before you listen to others, this world has enough sheep.
and dont forget, if you dont like the ground, there's always space : )
