Though not without it's problems, the NGE adds some nice qualities to the SWG.

Though currently Melee combat is completely broken, the new system adds some nice features to SWG. No longer to you need to grind for a year to become a Jedi. Casual players are no longer second class citizens. While they haven't completely done away with the Grind, they have made it much more enjoyable.

The quest based system is much more enjoyable than everyone hunting bols on Dant or Killing Wookies on Kashyyyk. However they need to add more highlevel questing. Since alot of us had done much of the ToOW missions prior to the NGE publish, we have again reverted to the grind target of the month. This time being Lava Fleas on Mustafar. Though this is a fairly quick grind and I for one should hit level 90 sometime next week on my main toon.
