The newest version of Star Wars Galaxies has completely destroyed a once great computer game.

I was a big fan of Star Wars Galaxies for more that 15 months. The latest version of the game was bad enough to make almost 75% of the current subscriber base quit outright.

Even if you can get past the myriad of bugs, the gameplay itself is simply unworkable. The profession choices are all almost identical. The weapons, while different in appearance, all do almost the same amount of damage. While it is possible to play as a Jedi, it is now the weakest combat class.

Do yourself a favor and pass on Star Wars Galaxies. This once proud game is now destined to be an example of how not to make an online game.
