I started playing a few months after the initail relaese and although the original game had its issues, this "new" game is awful and and unplayable. if you don't have 3 hands, or the lightning quick refelxes and great eye hand high coordination, you have no chance at being sucsesful at this game. The orginal game had som much promise as a great Star Wars RPG, but now it is a very bad FPS hybred. What used to be a complex society, with varying professions, a great economy system, and an Immersive Star Wars EU expeireince has become a very bad console clone. True Star Wars fans like myself should not be lured into the misguided coorporate speak of the fast action combat system just like the movies. Truth be told, that is impossible to captures in a video game.
The graphics, player movement, and overall game mechanics have been so watered downed, the game looks cheap and poorly done. Only a 10-12 year old may find this game fun for any length of time.
Finally and most importantly, the bad customer servive , lack of communication to the customer base, and out and out lies and deception of SOE and Lucas Arts, is enough for anyone to take there money elsewhere.
