Having played the game since launch, I was instantly intrigued by all the professions that could be had. The economy was player driven and group hunts were voluntary, not mandatory. Now that Lucas Arts has implemented the New Game Enhancements (NGE) 37 professions have been STREAMLINED into 8. There is no more profession crossing or switching. Crafting is a JOKE. Run from this game, gentle reader, it is awful. I am not an SOE fan but it was Lucas Arts that screwed up this game, something to remember for the future. An Empire Divided was my first MMO and the orginal will always be my favorite, do not be folled into believing that the original game and this travesty of a release are the same.
