I personally really enjoy the new combat and quest systems. The only problems really are that the game is really buggy, and there simply aren't enough XP giving quests. Another con is that they have changed the group dynamic so that you get almost no XP for doing a quest with a group, even though to get through some quests you need either an extremely high combat level or to join a group.
I hated the way in the old game that to get anywhere you needed to grind, and it also annoyed me that the game seemed a bit directionless. Now there is a reason to play, and more of a storyline. More quests would be nice, and more profession-specific quests would also make the game a bit more exciting.
