... or until you hit your first game-breaking bug, and trust me, this game is STILL loaded with bugs. It shipped with bugs in 2003, introduced new bugs throughout its painful run and the devs STILL RELEASE EXPANSIONS EVEN WHILE BUGS FROM PREVIOUS EXPANSIONS ARE TO THIS DAY LEFT UNATTENDED.

Bugs, bugs, bugs. And now with the latest sweeping change a whole new BREED of bugs has appeared that will likely (given SOEs shoddy track record with this sort of thing) take another 3 years to repair. Of course, this game isn't going to last nearly that long. In fact, SOE's license is up in February and the concensus seems to be that they won't get it back and the game will die then and there.

Conclusion: don't waste any time or money on this game, no matter how big a Star Wars fan you are: it will just break your heart and piss you off. You'll do well to avoid and SOE products like the plague in my opinion.
