Dull game served up on a tray full of clunk. 3-D promises, cardboard delivery.

No way. Once upon a time this may have been an interesting game. When I read about it originally there seemed to be good ideas. For instance, force sensitivity would be randomly assigned! Maybe you'd have what it took to be a Jedi, maybe not! If not you could train as a rebel soldier or a stormtrooper. You could work outside the law and become a bounty hunter! Cool ideas! I even read on the boards that for a while you could HUNT Jedi as a bounty hunter. Awesome! Not Awesome.
Some of these ideas are true in principal but only in the stiffest, most rudimentary manner. I am sick and tired of "leash" gaming and this $15 per month piece of clunk is the worst at it. You are literally led around on a fish line. A glowing path appears in front of you leading all the way to your destination on any mission! Forget that **** The combat interface is D U L L and the character management is convoluted. It is the only RPG in which I've given up on paying attention to leveling properties. Leveling is the most fundamental point of Role Playing Games!
On the plus side character creation is fun and the environments are fairly mood inspiring. The sound is very Star Wars and the option of taking to outer space is pretty cool. My main beef is in the delivery of said promises. Sure you can "join the rebellion" but there is zero difference in doing it than any other mission sets. What you can actually do with your character (run, aim, shoot, activate) makes mission variety pretty difficult and nearly pointless. All the running around and "exploring" results in wasted time, not an immersive experience. The game also does not help explain how to make use of all of its elements. I was intrigued by the idea of owning or building my own land speeder but couldn't get information from any NPC's about it, couldn't steal someone else's and ultimately couldn't tell if it was possible to do or not. I seldom ran into other player characters and had no interaction with the ones I did come across. The result is an inaccessible, stagnant game experience with unrewarding payoffs. Me no recommend.
