The tag line pretty much sums up my take on SWG at this point in time. While I was sucked in as much as anyone else back when SWG was first launched and for the three year thereafter, it finally dawned on me that SWG had almost nothing to do with Star Wars except the costumes. Beyond those costumes, you really do not feel like you are a part of the Star Wars universe. Supposedly, you can play as on of the factions within the Star Wars universe, be that Rebel or Imperial. But, isn't it just a little weird that a high ranking Rebel could be standing amongst a crowd of Imperial Stormtroopers without anyone even caring? And that is just one of the many many inconsistancies in SWG. Like I said, I played continuosly for three years. Was there any fun? Sure, I made online freinds and had a good time at times. But, I never really felt that this was that much of a Star Wars game. It was a waste of time and money.
