The new Jedi Knight game

It is difficult for me to give a totally accurate review of this game considering the fact that I have not played any of the previous Jedi Knight games. However, this one appealed to me the most for the simple reason that ‘Knights of the Old Republic’ spurred me on to buy other Star Wars games. To start off, the games graphics are distinctly average, however, including the in game graphics in the cut-scenes was a nice touch, and it must be said that the light sabre effects are beautiful. However, the game is at its weakest when it comes to lifespan. The single player game will not last the average gamer more than a few days and is very linear. At one point when you are allowed a choice between Light/Dark, choose the dark, it is an astoundingly cheesy cut-scene, very funny stuff. Overall, this game is what it would come across as, average, and not in the same division as ‘Star Wars: KOTOR’. Honestly, nowhere near it.
