Probably the best star wars game ever.

User Rating: 9.5 | Star Wars Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy PC
BEGINING
Star wars: jedi knight jedi academy is a great game set after it's prequel (jedi outcast). You start the game as a very talented student, Jaden Korr. Before you start, you can also costumize your character. That includes selecting it's gender, specie and clothes. So after that you can costumize your lightsaber, from it's hilt to it's colour. After that yiu start the game and imediatley you have your costum built light saber and the force power to throw it. Later in the game you also get guns and granades. You can even switch between fist and third person (exepct when you have your lightsaber selected).

GAMEPLAY
In the game you get to kill storm troopers, mercenaries and even other jedies. So you can fight with you light saber or other weapons, most of them from the star wars universe. You automaticly block blasters, but somerhing bigger (like some weird bazooka thingy) you deflect with your force powers like force push. When fighting a jedi (sith) the way you fight him is amazing. It's not just a gamble of who sabers first, but you can block his attack, then launch your counter - attack, use your force powers, protect yourself from his force powers etc.

FORCE POWERS
You have a large selection of force powers, which yo can upgrade from lvl 1 - 3. Level one is of course the weakest force power and it doesn't have much effect. Level 2 is less weak and it can do more damage to your enemies. Level 3 is the strongest and most efficient. Your large selection of force powers include force grip, lightning, heal, mind trick, saber throw, push, pull, etc.

STORY (SPOILER)
When you arrive at the jedi academy, you see three people holding a weird wand and draining something from the academy. After that you fall unconscious and it remains a mistery for a while. Later you find out that the wand is used to drain force powers form important structures in Luke Skywalker's records. Later your friend and team-mate Rosh Peninn is captured but as you later find out he has turned to the dark side and one time you have to fight him as well. Later on, this sith cult continue to drain force powers from buildings and as you find out, they're doing so to revive the sith lord that died almost 5000 years ago. Near the end of the game, you find Rosh Pennin again (last time you fought him he gets away and you lose you lightsaber - so you make a new one and you can also have dual sabers and a double-bladed lightsaber) and you get to chose - leave him alive and remain on your path of the jedi - or kill him and turn to the dark side. Either way, you go to a planet to stop the leader of this cult - Tavion, where you fight here in a battle for power (dark side) or to stop her from reviving Ragnos (light side).

OVERALL
Overall, the game is great and worth buying, even if your not a star wars, you will still enyoy playing this game.
