Not quite a sequel, and not quite worthy of a top ten Star Wars game.
So now you can wield two light sabers, yeah. And your force powers seem to get a jump in power but all in all it feel exactly the same as Jedi Knight II, and that's not a bad thing, but you no longer play as Kyle Katarn, the gruff mercenary (Han Solo esc) player that you loved. Now you play as some **** character that you created.
The games story and plot line don't have the same ambition as the first and I tended to loose interest right away. Also, then never really took light saber battles and made them any better, and since this game emphasizes the use of the light saber and force powers that was a real let down. Needless to say I really only played this game once all the way through. I may visit it again but only after I play Jedi Knight II outcast again. And replay value really adds to my rating of a game. Even if the game seems better than others, that key aspect, (fun) which can be different for everyone, is really seen in a games replay value and for that this game cannot go over a 7.5 in my opinion.
