Knight of the Old Republic II is a great game. In fact it is one of my favourites. The story is really interesting, and it draws you in so that you can't put the controller down. The gameplay is almost identical to the first game, with the addition of some force powers, equipment, and the new fighting styles that you can acquire for lightsaber battles. The graphics, while good, lack some of what is now expected in modern games. The levels are almost all exclusively flat, with no hills or anything. This is alright in urban settings, but not in a natural envrionment. The graphics were great last time around, and although there is reportedly some polishing that happened, it is not all that evident. The sound remains amazing. The voice acting is very good and the overall sound experience serves to drag you in even further. Knight of the Old Republic II is a sleep killer. You will liklely find yourself staying up much later than you intended, and even dreaming about the game once you're asleep. The only thing that annoyed me was the fact that it took so long to get a lightsaber. You're a jedi, get one sooner. That said, there is immense satisfaction once you do acquire it. Honk
