If you liked the first one, then you should definitely play this.

Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II is one of the best RPGs I have ever played. There are lots of things I like about this game, but there are some problems with it, too. Gameplay: It's the same as the first game. Decide which enemy you want to attack, press A, then the computer does the rest for you. You decide which attack or force power you want to use, and you'll use it, but there's no specific button you can use whenever you want to wave your lightsaber or shoot your gun. Graphics: Definately this game's main weak point. There are so many glitches and problems with the graphics that sometimes you get frustrated. I'll name a few. Sometimes, people will appear out of thin air. Your allies will head in the opposite direction that you are going. When you are talking to them, they might be facing the wrong way, or one person's voice might be coming out of one of your other allies. When you give an attack command, it might not always happen like it should. The framerate will slow down and lag terribly, sometimes to the point where the frame freezes, but the action is still going on. There are good things about the graphics, though. The environments often look great, and cutscenes are very well done. Most of the time, the graphics issues are tolerable, but often will get in the way. Sound: The sound in this game is great, mainly the voice acting. The sounds of lightsabers and swords colliding, blasters firing, are all very good. There is an occasional gap in the sounds, but it doesn't happen very often. There are a huge variety of voices you'll hear throughout the game, being part of the reason why I like this game. Value: This game took me about 33 hours to complete, and I never got bored of it. There's always something to do, whether it be helping someone out on the side, or doing strictly what you are told. I think the best part of this game is the huge amount of dialogue options that you have. Often, what you say will have an effect on your alignment and how others look at you. There are important decisions to make, and you alone must make them. Freedom is the best aspect of this game. Tilt: I'll make a list of things I liked and disliked about this game. +Combat system is great and innovative (though opinions on that vary) +Voice acting and sounds are very well done +Freedom in combat and dialouge +Enough to be done to keep you occupied for hours at a time -Framerates lag and sometimes stop altogether -Too many glitches sometimes get in the way KOTOR II is altogether a great game for RPG fans. If you can get used to the different combat system and be tolerant of the numerous glitches, I'd say definitely get this game.
