yea...i played and beated KOTOR I, liked it a lot.
bought and played through KOTOR II and liked it...the first time. after going through and playing it again, i kinda saw a few issues i ignored the first time through. the story itself has a somewhat of an annoying way presenting itself. the plot is actually pretty interesting, i liked the new force powers, feats, weapons, the characters, how they had it so that the player explained what happened in KOTOR I, pretty nice way to clean up a few things. i even liked the opportunity to have most of the characters trained to be Jedi. sometimes, it was real easy, other times it was near in possible. and sometimes it would just happen out of nowhere. like i would talk to a guy just cuz i felt like it and bam-i made him a jedi. where others are like- i have to make it my goal in life to make them a jedi.
another big complaint was how the planet quests were delivered. sometimes they would be seriously too short...others were just fine. like for Nar Shada, it was the right length, just a serious pain in the neck most of the time. it would be like an endless fight everywhere and i'm wandering around trying to figure out what im supposed to be doing. then Dxun/Onderon thing. that was my fav. part of it all, but the part of Onderon, again-too short, yet fun all the same.
Dantoinne and Korriban--way too short, yet kinda fun
then the weird in game quest thing-where you have to return to Dxun for whatever reason-kinda fun but sometimes so hard it would be frustrating
then the end...there were such annoying cliffhangers it made me keep thinking to myself 'wtf??"

overall its a pretty good game..if you have a high tolerance of a few things...
