A thrilling action packed RPG that lets you decide for yourself the path you will take.
The Good: Amazing graphics, excellent music and sound effects, excellent combat mode, cool force powers, "choose you own destiny" with different phrases to chose from in the dialog.
The Bad: occasionally the framerate would drop during large fights with over ten enemies, when you beat the game, there was no exploring different area to finish side quests. This game by Bioware set new standards for RPGs, and in my opinion, none have surpassed it yet. You start off as a Soldier (or scout or scoundrel) on a ship who has no memory of his past. When the ship is attacked by the sith, you end up on a "backwater planet" named Taris with a war hero named Carth. The planet is quarantined by the sith and you have to escape and rescue a jedi named Bastila. After you rescue Bastila. After you escape, you go to dantoine and lean how to become a jedi and go on an adventure with nine others to stop the sith( or if you so choose, become one of the sith and rule the galaxy). *****HUGE SPOILER*****
The best part of the game (storyline wise) was the HUGE surprise ending were you fine out you were the leader of all the sith, but the jedi captured you and made you forget you're past. SPOILER ENDS HERE Another awesome thing about this game is that the 1/2 turn based style of the combat is surprisingly easy to use. The D-pad was used to scroll a small on-screen menu that controls you actions. You can use a weapon, attack force powers, support force powers, and items(medpacks, antidotes, etc.). With a huge variety of customizable armor, weapons, energy shields, implants, and stimulizing head gear, there are no limits to what your characters can do/wear. Also, the nine other characters at your disposal all have different specialties like security, stealth, computer skills, etc. All-in-all this is a great (and backwards compatible) xbox game that trumps all other RPGs hands down (let's wait and see how mass effect turns out) and is a must have for any RPG or Star Wars fan.
