After spending so much time with Star Wars Battlefront and Battlefront 2, I enjoy the more relaxed pace of KOTOR along with the opportunity to become immersed in such a large story line. It is understandable that someone might be turned-off by the idea of turn-based combat, but this game does it right. Despite the funny glitches (I can't even count how many times one of my party memners has blocked me into a corner and refused to move) this game is as near to perfection as can be expected. One of the most significant things that this game offers is a look into a time in the Star Wars Galaxy that has not been covered at all by the films. While the characters are familiar, the story is entirely new to the player, and leaves no reason to breeze past the cut scenes while thinking "I remember that from the movie." For anyone tired of the furious pace of shooters who is looking for a chance to relax a little, this is a great game to play. It reminds me of how it feels to take a break from Maddena and spend some time playing Tiger Woods.
