Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic has been out for the xbox since 2003 and my review is now here.

User Rating: 9.5 | Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic XBOX
Stars Wars Knights of the Old Republic for the xbox console is a game to remember as this takes place 4000 years before Episode 1. The Sith are still ruthless and the Jedi are trying to protect the universe. You play as a soldier who is awoken by explosions on a ship and is forced to fight the Sith troops and rescue yourself. As you crash land on the Sith control, you begin your light/dark life. In this installment you may choose the Dark or Light side and either become a ruthless Sith lord or a peace-loving Jedi master. Now Knights of the Old Republic is not like other Star Wars games but it plays like an RPG. You attack, wait a little while, then attack again and the fighting never gets repetitive especially when you get a lightsaber. Now you see that I played this game from 40 to 100 hours and I am not over exaggerating. The game, with all the side missions, will take you 45 hours to complete. Without the side missions the game will take 40 hours to complete. But the side missions mostly have to do with you working on your dark side or you light side. For every selfish thing you do, you get Dark points. For every selfless thing you do, you get Light points. Or you can do both light and dark points and stay neutral. Now this game isn't perfect. Knights of the Old Republic will lag during the game at some point, especially if you play this game on a Xbox 360 (which I did). Plus when the Wookies talk you will hear the same language for different sentences over and over and it will get irritating. Other than these complaints, Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic is a solid game.

GOOD: Great story; fantastic gameplay; choosing sides is a great part of the game; lots of hours of gameplay.

BAD: The game lags, dialogue is a little undone.

This game is not perfect but pretty damn close. Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic receives a 9.5 out of 10.
