Finally Become a Jedi
KOTR takes the familiar D&D games system, and turns into a face paced real time combat system, in a way that has yet to be matched. The option to pause and think through your actions is there, but many times I felt the pause was uncessary. My reactions were enough to get me through the fight.
It then pairs the combat with a story of epic proportions. Not since seeing Episode IV for the first time have I been so completely immersed in a Star Wars story line. The characters were also very well drawn, and their personalities drew me to follow their side stories not for items or money, but simple to further their plot lines. HK-47 may be the 2nd greatest robot of all time. Only falling behind R2.
This is what every Star Wars game should aspire to be.
