A masterpiece with a plot twist to shake the video game realm itself.

I absolutely loved this game. I still play it to this day and I never tire of it. If you love Star Wars, and even if you don't, this is a fantastic RPG for you.

The greatest thing about this game is the speech system. Your character has the ability of you, the player, being allowed to pick it's dialog. Sometimes this has effects on the world around you and even your character itself. Which brings me to the next portion, alignment. Throughout the game you make many choices which affects a Light Side/Dark Side scale. At max light side your party respects your command much more than if you were dark side in which they would fear your rule over them. Your alignment also affects your appearance. A Jedi would have this sort of glow to them, while a Sith would have dark, cracked skin and would look all around monstrous. These also affect your force powers in the game, boosting their effectiveness. Anyways.

You start the game by, of course, creating your character. You have the choice of 3 classes (Scoundrel, Scout, and Soldier), and your sex. You can pick from a fitting array of faces 'n' races. After that you can assign your skill and attribute points. Then comes the feats, abilities in the game that can help you directly or indirectly. Like, per say, you picked the Critical Strike feat. Critical Strike allows you to do a well animated attack with a large chance to get a critical hit. Anyways, name your character and you're off into the wonderful lan- er...space of Star Wars.Your journey begins in a warship called the Endar Spire. But all is not well as you are awoken by sith fighters. A man named Trask enters your room and tells you the basics. Then you get your items. Unlike most Star Wars fans hoped, you don't get a lightsaber immediately.

After fighting through the ship you find your CO, a man named Carth Onasi ironically. After escaping the ship with Carth you land on a planet nearby which is on a Sith Quarantine. You find some new friends on the planet, snatch a ship from a nearby Crime Lord, and get the hell off the planet. Later in the game you start to train as a Jedi and create your lightsaber, memorize the Jedi code, and attain force powers. As soon as you are finished your training, you take off in your stolen ship to explode the galaxy. Near the half way point of the game you experience a plot twist which may be the most memorable in video game history. I'm not going to spoil it, you'll have to play this magnificent piece of art to see it for yourself. And trust me, you'll enjoy it.
