This game is everything it was meant to be and more. I picked up a copy the day it came out and popped it into my nice shiny Xbox. I was immediately impressed. The opening trailer had me hooked already and I hadn't even played the game yet. The graphics, I have to admit, aren't perfect. The in game graphics are fine but some of the cinematics seem to be slapped together roughly. The frame rates can get pretty lousy sometimes as well. But this isn't really a problem unless your some kind of super game perfectionist or something. The sound is one of the games strongest point. It sports and original soundtrack and plenty of kick-ass Star Wars type laser sounds. The combat system is really great or it can be bad, depending on how you like your combat. In Kotor, there is a very cinematic feel to the combat system. You can just watch as your character(s) fights and enjoy the action. You can even swivel/move the camera to get a more interesting veiw of the battle. The lightsabre battles are especially fun to watch as they are in all good StarWars games and movies. As an added bonus, this game even has its own story! Amazing! It doesn't try to recreate the story of a failure movie(cough cough Episode II cough cough). You are always making decisions that will affect many things. At one point you have the chance to either save and old man from being taken away and killed by the Sith or saving has life and kill the Sith guards. That's only one example. The game is gonna take you a while especially if you do the side quests so grab some food and a comftorable chair to sit in. Of course, do this after you pick up a copy of Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic. -Dan
