Not exactly innovative, but still fast-paced and fun. Great Star Wars game.

Not much to say about Republic Commando. It's a great game, sure. But as far as gameplay goes, there's not much that stands out. The controls are very solid, the balance of weapons is nice, and the squad commands are easy and useful.
Republic Commando doesn't do anything new. But it doesn't really need to. It suceeds at what other games have failed at, and that's good enough for me. Plus, outstanding graphics, sound effects, voiceovers, and music really help to make this a high-quality title.
My big complaint is that this game is fairly short. The sucky multiplayer doesn't really help matters either.
However, I do not think that anyone will be disappointed with this purchase. Plus, guys...it's Star Wars.
