A game that will stick with me for years.

I talked about the gamecube for months when I heard about it. I was a 9 year old Nintendo fanboy, you know, the annoying kind? My dad secretly bought a black gamecube on its launch day and hid it until christmas came. The rest of my aunts and uncles pitched in and got me and my brother controllers, memory cards, and pitched in on 3 games. Super Smash Bros. Melee, Luigi's Mansion, and Star Wars Rogue Squadron II: Rogue Leader. This was my favorite of all of them. I had played all that my little brain could grasp of what was Rogue Squardon for the N64, and when I played this my head nearly imploded. That was 7 years ago. I was looking through my gamecube collection the other day and came across it bringing back memories. Not very good ones. Mostly ones of me getting extremely angry at the game because I could never find those freaking cluster missiles. So I placed it in my 7 year old machine and started over. When I thought about it, this was truly what a launch game was supposed to be. My friend who got an Xbox 360 for christmas and I both agreed that the best game was Call Of Duty 2 - which I had already played on the PC. I think this game deserved a lot more recognition than it got. I think all fans of this excellent revival of the airplane shooter genre need to remember this game on their top gamecube game lists.
