This game is great. I think it is very big steep forward for the series because it has all and more that a game like this needs. I am a big fan of Star Fox games and since there hasn’t bin a traditional starfox game for the cube I am using this game to tide me over until Assault comes out. The graphics are very good with the ships having such a high polygon rate. The frame rate can move very fast and you can have plenty of enemies on screen. The only problem with the graphics is that some of the explosions are poorly done. The game play may be the same as Star Fox in its core but was there anything wrong with Star Fox? The basics are easy to learn but hard to master. The game can be very hard some times but nothing impossible. You really feel like you’re an X wing pilot. There are many of vehicles such as the B wing to the Millieum Falcon. The game has plenty of levels all with three parts. The game will keep you playing it for a while you strive to get all the best ever medals. The multiplayer is really fun but it’s a drag that you can only have two people playing in the dog fights. Plus it has all of the pervious game inside it for cooperative multiplayer, which is great. One of the things that are the best parts of Rebel Strike is the sound. They just nailed it. The lasers are perfect along with that Star wars WOOSH sound of Tie fighters whizzing by. All your favorite songs are here as well. The main problem is that the ground missions are poorly executed and are not very much fun. They don’t drag too much though seeing that there are only probably 2 full levels of them. If it where up to me I would have made it so the people control as ships or walkers. Hold on to R to move while you would have to aim. Now that would have bin cool. All said and done if you like air plain games you’ll like this. If you like Star wars you’ll like this. If you like both you’ll love this.
