This Star Wars fan cannot recommend this good looking title due to its' repetitive, short, uninspired lacking substance.
This game is beautiful to look at and listen to. The rain on Kamino is a nice touch and the John Williams soundtrack is about what we have come to expect from a Star Wars game. The game-play is of course, being based on the first one, a pleasure. To be able to wield Starkiller's lightsabers with ease and have this tremendous control of over-the-top force powers makes you feel powerful much like the first game.
This game tries to be epic. But the story falls flat compared to the first, it tries to be more personal and almost more epic but there are key questions left unanswered and the heart that tries to be in this game feels hollow and empty when it's all said and done.
The gameplay as fun as it is becomes repetitive very quickly and without a great story to drive you forward you begin to wonder if you care about the main character or not because you're not sure who he really is. The scenes vary very little between the rainy planet of Kamino, the red clouded beautiful planet where he stops next and the boring corridors of your star cruiser which are completely uninspired. There's some sort of attempt at a Dagabough level but it's not really even a level which feels like a slap in the face.
I bought this game used, played through this game in a few short hours and went back trophy hunting and am now going to trade it in and buy a different game. I wanted so much to like this game, but it just lacks substance for all the exciting flashy looks.
